The SCG hosted the Sydney concert of Sound Relief, one of two simultaneous benefit concerts to be held on Saturday March 14, in support of fundraising for the devastating Victorian bushfires and Queensland floods.

A roar went up when the crowd heard the opening thunderclaps of John Farnham's 'You're The Voice' and realized what was in store....."Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome to sing the Australian national anthem, John Farnham."
The whole stadium sang along. It was an incredibly spine tingling experience and the highlight of the entire day.
