This was to be a very different album launch. John had mentioned at a media conference
that he would like to play someday at the Espy.
A notice was put in a street magazine challenging John to do just that.
So it happened, John was to launch his new album, The Last Time at St. Kilda's famous Rock 'n Roll hotel, The Espy. In the public bar.
